Would need a bit more info.. in other words, what is their predicament healthwise. How old are you? Are they on meds, etc. I have taken care of many elderly. But you need to expound. Then I would gladly answer.

The person requires full time care you need.
For carers allowance from your local council as you apply for carers allowance from your local council as you should get it they will.

If you have to ask, find another job.You are not qualified for this job. When someone is depending on you for care you really should know what is expected of you.Take some classes and try later…

Make sure they are clean and with fresh clothing, that they eat (and what they eat is nutritious), make sure they take their pills (health care agencies say don’t hand them the pills but give it to them in a cup, plus some like to take applesauce with their pills). They will need clean sheets on the bed and the place vacuumed. They will need a tv, radio, and a place to sit by a window (and comfortable chair) so they can look outdoors, and they need a hobby (something to do with their hands…crafts maybe like crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles, cards, magazines, maybe have around them some family pictures. If they are elderly then they could need some bars in the bathroom to steady themselves at the potty, the tub and sink. Remove all rugs that they could slip on.

By taking a home health aid class. And you better have good liability insurance to protect yourself if you don’t work for an agency.
