You could go to the churches & let them know of what you’d like to start maybe they could help you or visit senior citizens centers & talk with the people there.I think what you’re trying to do is fantastic I also worked in Nursing homes & Home Care Provider it’s rewarding & I really do wish you luck.

If I were you I would get in contact with someone who knows state laws. I’m not sure if you will be required to be certified and if you will be required to carry malpractice insurance. That alone can run you into some big bucks which will have to be added into your fees. So your very affordable rates may run into a problem because of insurance.
I hope you succeed. But do your research first.

Advertise in your local newspaper.
If it’s DAY care then most folks are not going to want to travel much further than city limits any way.
List what services you provide, mention license & list COST.
If it’s 1/2 of what others are charging, then that should be a draw right there, esp. if no one else is advertising cost & people call in and keep repeatedly hearing a higher amount than what you advertise.
