So, as you may be aware, most places aren’t hiring or will be soon. However, I really need the income as a highschool student preparing to pay for college. My mom helped take care of an elderly lady all throughout college to get extra money, and I’ve also heard of people being hired to clean houses by families. Where can I find these types of positions being advertised, or do people even do this anymore?

It’s really hard, though - as I don’t own my own home, I had to move in with them (a couple of hundred miles away from where I lived), not vice versa. This meant giving up my job, my friends, the whole big city lifestyle I really enjoyed. As I’m living in their home, I’ve ended up totally compromising to fit in with their daily routine, and I just feel I have no control over how I spend my time any more.

I got a job in their town, but I had to give it up, as I ended up taking so much time off work whenever one of my parents became ill/had a doctor’s appointment/got their pills mixed up etc.

I feel like I’m completely losing my own individuality and personality. Help!

hi i was wondering if anyone can help me. my mother inlaw lives with her mother because she can not be left alone she needs round the clock care now my mother inlaw is no look to try and make money off of her situation but she had to quit her job over a year ago just to take care of her mother and has no income to help out with the bills now i know there are ways that the state will pay for her to care for her parent but just dont know where to look can anyone please point me in the right direction oh and we live in new york ty all for your time

I had to leave my job and home in St. Louis, MO to come to Orange, Texas to care for my father who has dimentia and my 89 year old grandmother. There must be a way to join a home health care agency to receive compensation from ther medicare insurance, I just don’t know who to contact.

Another question I thought of: is this: Is it possible to be trained on his medical needs if they are not too involved?
