His memory is failing and his friends are becoming concerned. However, he is adamant that he is still able to take care of himself and remain in his home. I run a care home for the elderly, sometimes people just don’t want to do anything and may be depressed. I am looking for useful references in relation to appropriate help. Often the people concerned are actually content with their life, coming to terms with thier limitations and do not want to do anything and feel bullied by relatives to do more. This conflict is hard to resolve.
